Stray Light Analysis and Elimination of an Optical System Based on the Structural Optimization Design of an Airborne Camera

An aspherical airborne camera has excellent performance in the field of photoelectric reconnaissance equipment. However, image plane contrast optical system will be reduced by stray light originating from inside or outside system. In present work, self-designed aspheric is manufactured with a baffle and vanes to reduce impact on imaging quality. TracePro software used analyze establish an ABg mathematical model based scattering intensity measurement. The incident angle parallel axis set, ray tracing performed machine verify whether it conforms design. results showed that when source greater than 0.5°, point transmittance (PST) value drops rapidly, 30°, PST order 10−8. Stray analysis verifies surface-based optomechanical structure ability suppress light. design further enhances light, which can provide reference for elimination structure.
